SRAJAN 2015

Student Project Contest was held on February 21-22, 2015. It was an international-level inter-collegiate event, organized by our branch, open for UG and PG students across India. The contest focused on a range of disciplines in electronics, electrical and computer science branches and showcased the talent of students and their out of the box ideas

The programme began on February 21 and the Chief Guest for the ceremony was Umashankar Gupta, Higher Education Minister, Madhya Pradesh. As many as 20 projects out of 110 entries were finally shortlisted and were exhibited at the SAC which included Prosthetic Hand for trans radial and Wonder Glove (A communication device for the deaf and blind). Apart from project exhibition a Guest Lecture series and Workshops on Industrial Automation (PLC and SCADA) and Big Data Analysis were also organised attracting a footfall of 500 and 200 students respectively.

On the concluding day Shyam Mardikar, Arvind Sanjeev and S K Ray delivered the lecture. Vishwanathan Raghunathan and Arvind Sanjeev interacted with the students via Skype.

The programme was followed by the Prize Distribution Ceremony. The winners of the Student Project Contest were provided with certificates of merit and prize money.
