“To instill the sense of learning provides greater satisfaction than learning itself.” IEEE MANIT Student Branch organised its biennial event SCEECS’18, a flagship conference which featured a comprehensive technical program including paper presentations, workshops and expert guest lectures. We aim to provide a platform for the brightest students to present and share their ideas, discuss and interact with eminent researchers & academicians. To realize this, 4th IEEE International Students’ Conference on Electrical, Electronics and Computer Science (SCEECS) is being conducted at MANIT, Bhopal. The event was inaugurated by the director Dr. NS Raghuvanshi, dean student welfare Dr. Ashutosh Sharma, our chief guest Mr. Sanjay Bandopadhyay(Manit alumni and Principal Secretary Department of Technical Education & Skill Development Government of Madhya Pradesh)

We received more than 200 research papers out of which 68 papers were accepted, these papers were reviewed by an expert panel. This was followed by the poster and paper presentations. The approved papers will be published IEEE Xplore.

Cyber Crime Investigation by Rizwan Shaikh

Rizwan Shaikh is one of the India's renowned Ethical Hacker, Information Security Researcher and Cyber Crime Consultant actively involved in providing Ethical Hacking and Information Security training and services. He is a well-recognized security professional with numerous successful engagements to his credit. A 12 hour workshop is being organised in MANIT, 24 February marking its first day.

Internet of Things

The Internet of things (IoT) is the network of physical devices, vehicles, home appliances and other items embedded with electronics, software, sensors, actuators, and connectivity which enables these objects to connect and exchange data. Each thing is uniquely identifiable through its embedded computing system but is able to inter-operate within the existing Internet infrastructure. The students were given hands-on experience on the IoT tool kit.
