IEEE is dedicated to advancing technological innovation and excellence for the benefit of humanity. To accomplish this aim, the IEEE MANIT Students’ Branch organized AARAMBH’18. It endeavours to bridge the gap between basic education and underprivileged students by teaching, guiding and encouraging them in various walks of life.
AARAMBH’18 was conducted on 4th, 5th and 6th October 2018. Our team of 16 went to schools like Saraswati Shishu Mandir School, Sarojini Naidu Girls Higher Secondary School and Subhash Government Higher Secondary School and demonstrated their projects on basic scientific principles. These projects were aimed to give hands on experience to students on topics like Series and Parallel Circuits, Total Internal Reflection, Newton’s Laws of Motion and Pressure.
Over 200 young minds learned about these physics subtopics through explanations, fun examples and interesting projects. After these demonstrations, students received advice on career paths and gained knowledge about their further options. The event was a huge success. Students and teachers praised and supported us on our hard work, motivating us to keep on our thread of social initiatives.
