The IEEE Student Branch at MANIT endeavours to promote awareness among students about the opportunities that exist in the field of electronics , electrical and computer science engineering. Our objective is to bridge the gap between industry and students, while promoting and providing an intellectually stimulating university environment for all students. IEEE Student Branch, MANIT aims to provide an interactive platform for students to develop their professional and technical abilities. Since the inception, it has been at the helm directing and promoting technical expertise by organising various events all round the year with well defined objectives. IEEE conducts three major events, which are Aarambh, Srajan and SCEECS.
IEEE International Students´ Conference on Electrical, Electronics and Computer Sciences is organized in the City of Lakes, Bhopal bi-annually. This flagship conference of IEEE M.P Sub Section will feature a comprehensive technical program including paper presentations, workshops and expert guest lectures. We aim to provide a platform for the brightest students from all over the world to present and share their ideas, discuss recent developments with like minded peers and interact with eminent researchers and academicians. SCEECS is a multi- disciplinary conference covering a range of tracks and topics from Electrical, Electronics and Computer Sciences. The objective of this conference is to nurture research and innovation at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. We invite you to submit your original technical papers, workshop and expert lecture proposals to this event. Early research works from Doctoral students are also invited to be presented at the conference. The conference will feature a presentation of high quality research papers hand picked by our expert panel. Accepted and presented papers will be published in the IEEE International SCEECS 2016 Conference Proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore.
SRAJAN is the student project contest, organized by IEEE student branch, MANIT Bhopal. The event has in past received an amazing lot of innovative ideas such as fuel cell power based car, walking stick for blinds etc. SRAJAN focusses on innovation and novelty in the field of technology. This contest aims to bring out such technological innovations in the light which are possible to be used in real life scenario. To cherish such ideas which will be able to solve the problems of a simple, common man. The contest aims to bring ideas and innovations from the students of engineering fraternity, to give them opportunity to present their creations to intellectual minds and a chance to discuss about these creations with them. SRAJAN invites ideas for changes which can have a strong and lasting impact on the problems of the people of our society.
Aarambh is an outreach program conducted by IEEE MANIT Students’ Branch with an intrinsic aim to promote science not as a subject but as a part of day to day life and career interest to the underprivileged sections of society. Needless to justify, children need to realize the importance of scientific point of view in their school days only, so that as they grow up, they can have a rational perspective and live a healthy and prosperous lives. The idea is to popularize science as a way to understand life and to feel the things happening around by reaching children from deprived communities, who are getting elementary education in some government or convent schools with basic problems such as lack of quality teacher, improper infrastructure, lack of guidance, inadequate atmosphere.
